How to Earn Miles

KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines’ world leading frequent flyer programme that rewards travellers on board Singapore Airlines and their partners. Besides earning KrisFlyer miles for each flight, you can collect KrisFlyer miles whenever you use your credit card, book hotels, hire cars, make phone calls and much more.

You can earn KrisFlyer miles when you:

  • Fly with Singapore Airlines of one of its 30 Airline partners
  • Purchase with more than 170 non-airline partners including hotels and car rentals
  • Shop at KrisFlyer Spree, KrisShop or its retail partners, selecting from more than 2000 leading global brands. Every 125 KrisFlyer miles gives you approximately S$1 in spend on KrisShop, with a minimum of 3,000 KrisFlyer miles per transaction.

Redeeming
Flight Award Tickets

You can redeem your KrisFlyer miles for a Saver or Standard award flight. Saver awards are popular and limited but require fewer KrisFlyer miles while Standard awards require more miles but allows greater flexibility while choosing seats and offers two complimentary stopovers per round-trip ticket. Miles can be combined with cash to pay for your airfare bit a minimum of 2,940 KrisFlyer miles is required per transaction.

You can also redeem KrisFlyer miles for Scoot and Tigerair vouchers to selected destinations.

Flight Upgrades

You may also redeem KrisFlyer miles for flight upgrades to Premium Economy Class, Business Class, First Class or Singapore Airlines Suites. You can also get flight upgrades on the various Star Alliance airlines. Claiming
Claiming Missing Miles

KrisFlyer miles are usually credited to your account between two and four weeks after your flight. However, if you use one of the non-airline partners, you would see your miles after six to eight weeks.

If you have flown on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir and still have not received your KrisFlyer miles by the abovementioned time period, you may claim your missing miles online by logging on to your KrisFlyer account.
